My Favourite Podcasts

Since Jackson has been born there has been countless hours of rocking him, holding him and just sitting on the couch with him. I started downloading some podcasts early one morning because I couldn't stay awake feeding him at 5am. I loved it. It was called Happy Hour and Jamie inspired me and I learnt so much in the hour podcast. Then the next time I was feeding, I continued to listen. Almost three months later I listen to a podcast pretty much every day. I am addicted and am loving learning something and being productive while I am nursing or rocking him to sleep.

Since I am so passionate about podcasts now I wanted to share my favourites with you incase you are interested in checking some of them out:) I have never really got into tv, but am so loving podcasts! Below are my top six favourites in order! If you click on the title I have linked all the podcasts for you to check them out.

1. Happy Hour with Jamie Ivey
This podcast is my favourite at the moment! I am going through all the old episodes that I've missed. Jamie sits down with a girlfriend and talks about the little things in life, the big things in life and everything in between. Basically you feel that you are sitting with Jamie and her guest with a tea and having a conversation. This podcast is fun and upbeat and always encourages me in my faith.

2. Glorious in the Mundane  with Christy Nockels
Christy is a well known worship leader and recently launched this podcast. She has such great wisdom and insight and her voice is so easy to listen too! Her guests are all women I look up to and admire and again so encouraged by her faith in the Lord and what God is constantly teaching her!

3. Village Podcast / Village Church
Matt Chandler is the lead pastor of the village church and I have really enjoyed listening to his sermons via their podcast. The church also has a podcast that they periodically post on and it is pure gold too.

4. Elise Gets Crafty
My favourite blogger is Elise. Sadly she has taken a break from blogging to focus on her small business but she has kept up her podcast. She talks about creative things and small business. This isn't a Christian blog like the other three but I like Elise so much and everything she has to say. She has created such a great small business of planners and paper products and I want them all! Her guests are always inspiring too.  If you aren't interested in creativity and small business than I don't think you'll find her podcast interesting.

5. Influence Podcast
The influence podcast is a group of women equipping other women to have influence right where they are at. They have an online membership where they offer classes and its a great community. I haven't committed to the membership fees but I do take some of there classes, read their blog and listen to their podcast.

6. Hope Writers
This podcast comes in as my 6th favourite because I just started listening to them. The few that I have listened to have been super educational. I love writing and find it so fun listening to all these writers share their thoughts. If you aren't interested in writing than I don't recommend this one.

If you have any other recommen
dations for podcasts please let me know! I would love to add some more to my playlists:)

Happy listening!
